An Evening at the Theatre
Last November I wrote a post here about the old Apple Theatre in Seattle that, until it was torn down a few years ago, would show old 35mm prints of classic porn movies. Since then, I've had several people write describing the porn theatres in their town. Here are a couple of the emails I've received.
John told me about "the Tom Katt on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood, California, across the street from the Pleasure Chest."
Ken wrote in to say, "In my hometown of Toledo, Ohio there is the Westwood Art Theatre, a full size movie house with a seating capacity of 240, standard fold down movie seating, and a 75 foot screen. They use to show 35mm film and had tons of projector difficulties. Now they have a DVD video projection screen with excellent quality. They run two features continuously every day. I was there last night. They show all sorts of films, and have one weekend a month set aside as Classic Sunday where they present golden age films re-released on DVD."
Thanks for the emails, John and Ken! Both these places sound like a lot of fun. The Tom Katt, of course, is the new name of the famous Pussycat Theatre, the venue Deep Throat played for a couple of years back in the seventies. Has anyone been to, or gotten any action at either the Tom Katt or the Westwood Art Theatre? Does anyone know of any other porn theatres in the USA they'd like to tell us about? I'd love to hear from you!

My goodness....the Tom Katt on Santa Monica Blvd. Well, I'm an 18 year old male that, well, got very curious now that I'm 1. Legal and 2. Mobile. So I went in. At first I thought it was pretty interesting. The movie was good and once my eyes adjusted I took a seat. I had asked the ticket guy if masturbation was allowed and he shrugged and said "It's okay, the police never comes in here." So I took the liberty of whipping it out on my next to front row seat. I saw that it was dark but I later realized that my eyes hadn't fully adjusted.
The rest of the story is a nightmare...for me at least. I soon realized the theatre was filled with...no offense to anyone reading this, old people. I couldn't find a private seat without anyone coming up and sitting next to me, prompting me to put it away. At one point some guy tried to reach his hand over to my knee but I got up and sat somewhere else. In my new seat some guy behind me said "I'll give you $20 for 2 seconds" I'm like "uhh, no" and moved away.
I was way too hard to stop so I climaxed into some tissue and left the place.
I'm an exhibitionist so I wouldn't have minded if someone happened to peek over and see something but it got to the point that they wanted to do something with me which I didn't like. Others might like that though! I saw people giving people head and even someone reaching up to please someone who was standing next to their seat, eventually giving him oral.
I'm never going back, but I'm sure some may enjoy that type of environment.

I understand your problem, J. There are a lot of people who don't know how to take no for an answer, or to keep their hands to themselves. There must be theatres you can hang out in where guys will watch you jack (since you're an exhibitionist I'm sure you'd like it a lot) but frankly, I can't give you any names. Have you tried any Jack-off Clubs? They can be a lot of fun. Please let me know about your future attempts.
